UK Number One Adaptive Athlete and The Knights Foundation Ambassador, Jamie Gane may be facing a set back with his next operation. Jamie had hoped to have further surgery by now, which would’ve followed with healing to allow him to sufficiently train for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. The National Health Service are yet to confirm the date.
This set back may mean Jamie will have to change his ambitions and concentrate on the 2024 Paralympics – (which will be held at either Paris or Los Angeles).
We will update you once the dates of Jamie’s operation is confirmed. In the mean time, we will hope that once Jamie has his operation date confirmed, that he makes a speedy recovery so preparations for training can continue which may allow him to compete in the 2020 games!
Good luck Jamie!
