A legacy project to create a new home for The Knights Foundation

Our vision is to create a space to host all of our community activities, meetings and events with a coffee shop and therapy rooms. Our new home will also host a state of the art, accessible media hub which will provide vocational opportunities for young disabled adults.

Can you help us find our new home?

Requirements: This remains flexible but likely to be 1000-2000 sq ft with accessible parking and opportunity to create disabled cloakroom facilities. Our search has included former gyms, community halls and offices. We would be open to a joint venture and co-location with an appropriate organisation.

Funding: We have ring-fenced finance to secure and adapt a suitable premises with ongoing fundraising plans to support the initiative as a legacy project for The Knights Foundation.

Terms: Ideally a 10 year lease but we would consider freehold purchase.

Concept: A space that will provide office space and also accommodate informal events, meetings and provision of services for disabled young people and their families. In addition, an accessible, open-plan office space that will form a media hub with desks, breakout areas and media studios for podcasting and filming.

The Knights Foundation are launching an exciting range of media services for our business patrons in 2024. Working with trusted professionals, we will provide your company with access to specialist media support including corporate photography, graphic design, digital marketing and podcasting services. By supporting this new initiative, you will also be providing valuable work experience opportunities for our young, disabled people.
